Terms & Conditions
Please take time to read these Booking Terms and Conditions which clearly describe our booking policies and procedures and clarify the contractual relationship between you and The Garden Rooms. By making a booking with us, you are accepting the following Terms and Conditions:
Arrival/Departure Times
In order that the property can be thoroughly cleaned and inspected between lets, holidays commence at 16:00 on the date of arrival, and end at 10:00 on the date of departure. It is much appreciated if you are able to advise us in advance of your approximate time of arrival.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel a booking, you should either do it through the website which you booked it through which will have its own terms and conditions. If you have booked through our website, you should advise us by telephone and confirm the cancellation in writing, which should be by the same person who made the booking. Cancellation will take effect on receipt of the written confirmation. In all cases of cancellation the deposit will be forfeit. If the cancellation is made after the final payment is due, you are liable for the full cost of your holiday. We will, however, use our best endeavours to re-let and if successful, will refund the cost of the holiday, less costs incurred.
Complaints
Any complaints must be directed to us as soon as possible. If during your stay, we will do our upmost to help. Please note there is little we can do if the complaint is only lodged after your stay ends.
Confirmation And Reservations
Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you a confirmation that serves as our formal acceptance of the booking. Please check the details and inform us immediately of any inaccuracies. It is understood that the person making the booking will be deemed to act on behalf of all members of the party. We regret that deposits are non-refundable. We recommend that you have health and holiday insurance in place at the time of booking, which should include loss of deposit through cancellation.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome at The Garden Rooms, but we ask that they be kept off the soft furnishings and the beds, and that owners clean up after them. A charge of £15 per stay will be uncured for dogs to cover the additional cleaning costs.
Final Payment
Details for final payment will appear on your note of confirmation, and the balance must be paid in full not later than six weeks before the first day of the booking. If the balance is not received by us by this time we will be entitled to cancel the booking without prejudice to our claim for cancellation charges. For bookings made within six weeks of the start of your holiday, the full cost of the holiday should be paid at the time of booking.
General
The accommodations is furnished and equipped for holiday use and will not accommodate more than the stated number of beds. It is appreciated if tenants take care of the property and leave it in good order, as found. The named person responsible for the initial booking will be held responsible of any breakages or damage, and this may be charged to the named person if bills are incurred. This is the main condition of acceptance of any booking.
We have a no-smoking policy at The Garden Rooms, and guests are expected to respect this provision of the booking. This includes electronic cigarettes (vaping).
Although we take every reasonable care to ensure that nothing untoward occurs during your stay, we cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity arising howsoever caused.
Prices And Payment
Prices are fully inclusive. The prices are fixed in Sterling and payment in that currency may be made online. Prices include all utilities used, continental breakfast, bead linen and towels. Additional charges for dogs will be applied (£15 per stay).
